Our Mission
Real Function is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to protecting and improving natural resources through accountable leadership and intergovernmental collaboration. We provide strategic technical and administrative support to ensure effective planning, coordination, and implementation of natural resource initiatives that involve multiple jurisdictions.
Our work focuses on strengthening watershed health, improving air quality, and advancing sustainable waste management practices across city, county, state, and Tribal boundaries. We facilitate cross-jurisdictional projects in a manner that respects Tribal sovereignty, supports regional priorities, and delivers measurable environmental outcomes.
